Key Responsibilities of the Production Head
As the Production Head of the molasses-based distillery plant, your responsibilities will include:
Managing and supervising entire distillation operations.
Ensuring production targets and quality standards are met consistently.
Monitoring fermentation, distillation, and related processes.
Handling raw material procurement, especially molasses logistics.
Maintaining proper safety, hygiene, and compliance with environmental norms.
Coordinating with cross-functional teams: quality control, maintenance, and logistics.
Improving operational efficiencies and reducing wastage.
Ensuring all production-related documentation is accurately maintained.
Leading the production team and mentoring junior staff.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, the candidate must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Diploma in Industrial Fermentation and Alcohol Technology (DIFAT)
OR Master of Science (M.Sc.)
OR Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)
Experience:
Minimum 15 Years of hands-on experience in molasses-based distillery plant operations.
Only candidates from molasses-based background will be considered.
Experience in handling large-scale distillation units, managing manpower, and dealing with regulatory audits is essential.
Note: Candidates without molasses-based plant experience will not be considered.
